We're just a poor ODI side at the moment, and key players are not performing. India bowled well and used spinning conditions to thier advantage - but weahould have won that game by a country mile.

Why are Prior and Jones in the same side? This is a ridiculous waste of a place, and Bell should have one of the slots. We should also be playing two spinners if we have Colly and Bell in the side.

'Bout time we turned this ODI malaise around I think.

In the test matches we played twio spinners and were always in most of the games, clearly the spinners are keeping the run rate down and I think this needs to be England's main tactic against the strong Indian batting line up. Especially on flat tracks Plunker's inexperience will no doubt result in him being smashed around the park when we could have a spinner on who will go for half the runs.
