I did find the critisism of KP and Fred silly. They scored over 50% of the runs.

Flintoff is an allrounder with twice the workload of everyone else. The games are not the problem i would think. It's the intense training he has to go through to try and get his batting and bowling continually upto scratch, eventually he will burnout or breakdown if Fletch doesnt manage it properly.

I'm in favour of giving him a rest for the test matches against Sri Lank, after bowling and batting in seven ODI's he's going to be totally drained; mentally and physically. If Freddie was to play against SL I would play him as a specialist bat or bowl him a lot less!

the next ODI venue is faridabad.. where india have a dismal record... the last five times they played here they have only managed to beat zimbabwe.. the pitch has something in it for the bowlers and should help the england seam attack but it remains to be seen whether their batting can hold up.. Pathan might not be playing that should help but even if he is not there england will have to show some consistency... its true some of their very key players are not playing this series, still this is the venue i feel england can come back on... fingers crossed lets see
