| India v England - Official sixth ODI match thread After the abandoned fifth game of seven the series score is unchanged with India 4-0 up. Sadly all predictions of seven zip in India's favour are tarnished but a 6-0 drubbing of the touring side is still on the cards. The sixth ODI will take place in Jamshedpur, I suspect we will see another pitch which gives more help to the slow bowlers than the quicks. England and India both showed intent on resting their captains in the last game, Rahul Dravid will definitely not be taking part in the game but what about Freddie? Having had six days without a match will he decide to play or let fourth post Strauss take over the captaincy for a potential second game? Your pre-match thoughts are welcome here.

| With the kind of form India are into,I expect them to finish the inexperieced English side 6-0.At least I hope they can because if they do,they can continue a long streak because the windies shouldn't be that tough to beat.As said in the match, before Uthappa will open with Sehwag and some other new chaps will come into the side as well.

| Hopefully the crowd will behave this time. They say India is where the passion for cricket is but the scenes yesterday were contempt for cricket not passion.I am absolutely disgusted by it and hope i never witness such behaviour in a cricket ground again. India will still win the game if it is played. |

| Well, they can be better behaved, but they are getting a game in Guwahati after quite some time,so they wanted to see some cricket. Those conditions were pretty playable indeed,it stopped raining and the light was good. The umpires were not to keen because of the player's safety (come on,as a sportsman you've got to take injuries) and because they were puddles outside the boundary and if someone hits it for a six,it would get messy (what a dumb excuse, just shine it,it's going to be a six every delivery!).

| India scored a mere 223 all thanks to make-shift opener Dhoni with 96. The other main contributer being Powar with 56, they shared a 107 run partnership to keep India in there. Sajid Mahmood managed to bowl eight overs for credible figures of 3-37 but Jimmy Anderson took the best figures of 3-28 from nine overs. England in reply have opened with Ian Bell, Matt Prior at number three. Currently going along at over six an over on 81-0. The wicket looks good so it's all about staying at the crease. Oh yeah, KP got a wicket.

| Now then will we find a way of losing this one? |

| Fifty for skippy Strauss, well played and England looking good on a century opening partnership.

| Harbhajan gets the wicket of Ian Bell for 46 with the Doosra edged to Dhoni, very good knock from Bell and showing IMO why he should be in the side. 107-1 currently and England are looking good. Solanki is batting at 3, the management probably want to give him a chance to score some runs, also have a solid bat there to keep things moving.

| Solanki's gone cheaply again, managing just seven before being caught and bowled by Powar. Surely England can't throw this away...so long as KP doesn't do anything stupid we should be ok. |
