Given India's performance in India in the last few months, I think India has a good 'chance' of winning it.

Given England's performances in one day cricket abroad i can say it won't be us.

I fancy Pakistan myself but everyone has to admit that this compettition doesn't really matter compared to the World Cup.

Given the thrasing we took from the West Indies it wont be India. It depends on the injuries and the momentum the teams take into the tournement.

South Africa or Australia. I also think that Sri Lanka will suprise some team and could take it out.

Pakistan, South Africa and Australia are playing tri series in Abu Dhabi in September before champions trophy. I think the winner of this series will be the best to win champions trophy. Because all three are great.

Talking Don't underestimate The Hosts

Everyone thinks that because india's loss to lower ranked west indies team means india would not be the main contender for the champions trophy
please guys wake up
the tournament is gonna be in INDIA not in west indies
if you look into the last 2 years record of India in India is Simply Awesome
so never underestimate the host country(after all they hold the better record of ODI victories especially chasing in Last 1 year compared to otehr asian countries)
i still feel it could possibly one of the two between India and pakistan(dark horse may be srilanka)none other team has done so well like thses 3 subcontinent giants
I may sound biassed but somehow my inner instinct says like everytime even this champions trophy is not for australia(no offence to aussies)
They never performed well in champions trophy before

so my prediction is one of the 3 asian giants will raise the cup definitely(50%India 30% Pakistan 20% Srilanka) not the others

I agree.

They are a momentum based team, and all it takes is one solid victory to have them back on their feet. And as batoutofhell said, they have their millions right behind them this time. The major contenders for me are the Aussies (despite their poor record), India and Sri Lanka as the dark horses. England depending on fitness may cause a few surprises too, they seem to lift on the bigger stage.

I prefer Pakistan, South Africa and Austrila.

India might have a chance if Dhoni and Sehwag get started.
West Indies also have a chance as we saw how they gave Indians a trashing.
Sri Lanka have an excellent chance as they beat England 5-0.
England current form is also something to think about.
