Temporary run drought due to SRT’s wicket is over with Sehwag looking all set to score a biggie here! India need a big score because they are only playing with 3 specialists and Irfan Pathan…
1/75 as Watto bowls the 18th O.

Mongia has scored 7 off 25 deliveries eating up most deliveries unable to rotate strike and almost ran sehwag out.

2nd down for India, Mongia the one departs. No doubt Watto is happy to take his wicket, ball pitched away from Mongia after pitching a bit short.... Needless feather by the batter w/o any real foot movement.

2/89, Skipper Dravid steps in.

A partnership will be very useful fro India here. Sehwag is set and should complete his century. If this pair can stay upto 40 overs, we have some hitters down the order to get India to a good score.

Yes DomainK, that certainly seems to be India's approach - these two appear to be aiming for the 40 over mark with only 2 wickets down. Let's see if it works!

Sadly for India, Sachin has failed to deliver, once again, when it mattered. A perfect opportunity to silence all his critics has been lost for the umpteenth time!

Good point Django. As some would say, another crunch game, another failure.

In any case, I am not sure if just one innings under pressure would actually silence Sachin's critics; after all, they would argue that there are countless instances of innings where Sachin fails to deliver when it really matter.

As they say, when the going gets tough...Sachin gets going...to the pavilion, that is!

On this Mohali FLATTER India would at least need 275 to make this game competitive. They are on course for doing that, Sehwag the settled opener is there with Dravid finding his way in the middle...

Ozzies needs a wicket, try Symmo...

2/121 with best part of 24 O left...
