| Its not often that the world champions are pushed to the edge. If they dont win this one, they are out of the tournament. So Australia will play with all its might and they will makes sure that they will win. Some other day, Australia might thought that a match against India in India could be tough. But this Indian team looks depleted and out of shape. Lets have a look at history. Last time the teams found themselves in a similar situation was six years ago. On 7th October 2000, India and Australia played a knock out match in champions trophy. Australia then was stronger than what they are today. India then beat Australia with a wonderful team effort. But things are different today. The hero of that match, Yuvraj Singh is not playing. Most other players are either injured or out of form. I think the chances are 90:10 in Australia's favor. But you never know what team India might do. Even if one Sachin or Sehwag or Dhoni gets going, they might be too much for Australia to hadle. But thats a big if.

| I wouldn't rule India out just yet. I'd say West Indies were the big favourites in yesterdays game too and we know what happened there. Should be very interesting, I'd say its 66/33 in Aus' favour. |

| If the preview reports are to be believed, the pitch will assist the Aussie fast bowlers. Indian batsmen have always struggled against quality pace bowling and the odds are in favour of Australia winning the match comfortably. If India lose, this will be the first time since the world cup in 1975 that a team from the sub-continent would not have made it to the last four in a major tournament. |

| This track is no where near to what Pakistan had to bear on the other day. Nonetheless, positive start for India... first change is on for Ozzies, with McGrath still operating from other end. 0/37... |

| Well, its not as bad as the one in the Pak-SA match. But there is the bounce.
