Well Flintoff needs to do something special here if England are going to win this

Hes going to have to break the world record held by Anwar by about 100 runs for England to win. Or he could bowl an awesome spell.

Can't England just do the courtesy of allowing Australia to bat first? We're being robbed of entertainment with Englands inept first innings batting displays.

How frustrating is it. Maybe it is a tactic that they are having to not give Hussey, Symonds and White any batting practice in the middle before the world cup

True - after a good start 52-1 England are now in trouble again 94-6, even though Flintoff has not yet been out this series, what is he expected to do batting with the tail.

I wish Flintoff would lose the toss, had Australia batted against the very tall Tremlett, the game would have been at least interesting for a while.

Yeah i would have liked to have seen England bowl well first and get into our middle order as so i can see how White bats with 15/20 overs to spare.

Thought this was amussing from Crinc Info;

"England can't bat and New Zealand can't bowl, perhaps the finals should be Australia v an ENG/NZ joint team instead of humiliating just one of them." not a bad idea Bob.

I wonder if they could arrange it?

That would be awesome. I think that they should play England & South Africa Vs Australia & New Zealand. That would be interesting.

Hodge you genius. Too much bravado from Freddie pretty much kills this game dead.

I still like the twenty/50 idea, Aus bat for 20 overs and Eng/NZ for 50.

You mean England & South Africa vs Australia and Vettori/Patel. Don't think any other Kiwis would make it into the aussie team.

Looks like any game featuring Aus in this tournament is going to be very one sided. Roll on Tuesdays!
