Bit unfair to call Symonds gutless, he's saved our innings from positions like this more times than i care to remember. But i agree, lets see what White is made out of.

Well, at least Jon Lewis is making a match of this....

Still, England have posted too few runs on the board to have a serious chance of winning it.

Anderson and Lewis looked dangerous, but now with the Tremlett and Flintoff combination it doesn't look as dangerous but it's economical. Oh I guessed Panesar wouldn't play, Flintoff's the captain, he's the man that would take Ashley "Not played cricket for a year" Giles than Panesar.

P.S: Poor Mal Loye, he has no name on his shirt.

At least Lewis has shown the Aussie doubters that he is a good bowler.Won't be enough though as we needed more runs and those stupid dismissals will bite us in the ****.

If England had put another 100+ on, Australia would've really been up a creek at the moment, but they have only 70 odd to win. What's this "double whirl" from Flintoff that all these commentators keep talking about?

Really greg - I stayed up for it all, and Flintoff - when Dixon went had only the tail to bat with - his only chance was to have a go.

If you want to look for blame - look at Strauss, Colly and Joyce that put Flintoff and England in this impossible possition

Hussey and Clarke are start to break the shackles now....

They are tucking into Trmelett and Flintoff. Let's see if Tremlett can justify being selected over Monty!

36 looks like being the top score of this match unless Hussey finishes not out.

You'd think with White + Hussey at the crease and Lee and Johnson (first class ave 25) to come, we SHOULD be able to muster 60 runs. But who knows, intriguing 60 minutes to come.

I've actually always liked Lewis, even if only because he kinda looks like sideshow Bob. It's only really Anderson i've been heaping sh!t on, but even he's bowled decently this match.

Since when has Dalrymple been a tailender??????????

The shot that Flintoff played at that time was a disgrace. He could and should have just plodded along with Dalrymple at 3 or 4 an over and made sure we batted the overs out.He could go for it later as there was plenty of time left.As captain he should set an example.
