The closest match for Australia all season and we win with a bonus point.

Under pressure, chasing a small total, bring in the The Finisher #2.
When other teams would have folded under the pressure(re:SOUTH AFRICA),Hussey comes out and does the job as usual.
Hussey and Bevan are a major reason why we have dominated O.D.I. cricket for the last decade.

Good day for little bro too.
Top win for the Vics.

Hayden is reminding me why he got dropped.
Three starts and no 50s or 100s.

My isnt Australia GREAT. Maybe we should all worship Australia. KennyG, this is a series involving Australia, England and New Zealand. Why do you always insult SA at irrelevent times. I understand that you may suffer from a complex, but keep it to yourself. I assure that if our bowlers bowled with their feet, they would be able to defend 350, let alone 434. You keep bringing up the same boring points about SA under pressure, see my signature.

As for pressure, why dont you ask Martyn what happened to his career after Australia tried to chase 114 at the SCG. I cannot recall Australia ever defending anything less than 120 against SA and winning. Grow up and if you want to post about SA, do it in a relevant thread.

Whoa, Chillax peeps.

Yeah it was a great innings by David Hussey, vry reminiscent of his double-century against the same side when chasing 450 a few years ago.

Hello gibbs fan.

My wife is of South African heritage and I give her side of the family alot of ribbing about the cricket.
It is fun to give you lot ridicule about your team.

A better performance from England. Not that we could get musch worse.

If Vaughan had captained, we may have been able to bowl them out, but then Loye wouldn't have played.
I hope he travels to the World Cup.

Had Australia batted first then there might have been some credibility to your post, but England made a small total, and this was probably Flintoff's best match as captain.

On Vaughan's return, England got thrashed in the 20/20 and the ODI, England need some new top order players, not a new captain.

Loye has to go to the World Cup. He looked a class apart from the rest of our batsmen. He also made batting look so easy until normal service was resumed when he got out and our batsmen returned to playing some more Test cricket in the odi outfits.

The 7-1 win/loss ratio is what gives my post credibility. England had a good match mainly due to some very good bowling form Anderson (remember him? - one of the guys wh took the blame for the Ashes loss) not because of Flintoff captaincy attempt.

World cup wins are permament. Test series win are permament. World records are only temporary, but S.A need some claw to clutch on to don't they. Remember that world cup semi, when A.Donald got all confused, fell over and dropped his bat to get run out when S.A needed only 1 run to win? Now that was choking

P.S KennyG, Aust have won 3 world cups - not 2. You are correct regarding S.A though.

Anderson did not bowl at his best during the Ashes, and I think you know full well Seamer that he has played hardly any cricket due to being Englands 12th man for many months - and not getting a game at Lancashire.

He did not get the main blame from me for the Ashes loss, it was England's horrible batting, and a captain has no influence once a batsman is at the crease.
Had England played with this spirit in the Ashes, then it would not have been 5-0, I did not mind this defeat because at least England competed at last, yes this is the first time England have put up a fight on this tour.
