I hear you, Karthik....

My argument is that Samuels and Gayle are defensive part-timerss. I would've liked to see an attacking chinaman bowler having a go. Might've taken a few wickets, too!

And Mohammed can bat a bit too.

Still, water under thye bridge. Because he isn't even in the squad! He's one of those who stayed at home.

The WIndies have attacked Sreesanth and Agarkar. 120-2 off 21 overs....

B ig six by Samuels! And that's Chanderpaul's 50....

A run a ball. He needs to stay throughout the innings if the Windies are going to make a successful chase of this score.

The mountain is getting tough to climb for the Windies. They didn't start very well. The required run-rate has climbed up to 8 now.West Indies 143-2 in 26 overs. They still do have 8 wickets in hand.So if they go at a run a ball from now, they should be able to unleash in the end.

What a match! Windies finish just short on 324-8, with Chanderpaul on 149 not out....

This is one match I'm happy to lose. The Windies just didn't give up, and really had a go. A totla of 662 runs scored, a record for an ODI in India.

This is a Windies team without Sarwan, Ganga, Collymore, Dwayne Smith, and spinners Omari Banks and Dave Mohammed! And it was played in India, without any warm-up games....

I can't help feeling good. Now, we jsut need to bowl well.
