Two bright notes for Fletcher: Tremlett is now surely WAY ahead of Plunkett in the pecking order... and Panesar looks an increasingly secure bet as a frontline bowler. That suggests a WC squad (bowling) of:

Anderson
Lewis
Flintoff
Tremlett
Panesar
Collingwood
Dalrymple
Giles

Let's just hope that crew remains fit!
I also think that Tremlett has passed Plunkett in the pecking order.

Harmison
Hoggard
Jones
Anderson
Lewis
Tremlett
Mahmood
Broad
Plunkett
Onions
Smith
Khan

When asked if he knew his World Cup Squad Fletcher said they were looking for two back up bowlers and a batsman. The most likely bowlers would be between Tremlett, Mahmood, Plunkett and Broad. I would go for Tremlett and Broad but Mahmood got a lot of wickets in the West Indies with the A Team. We need to have someone to got and have a look at the wickets out there to see if we need more spinners than fast bowlers or vice versa.
