Australia 123/1 (24.0 ov)

Good start by Australia, this Aussie side does look invicible at the present time, although a couple of quick wickets could put New Zealand back in the match.

I think if Australia win this one - it's almost certain England won't be able to make the final.

Wouldn't it be more certain if new zealand won?
I thought england needed australia to beat new zealand to stay in the race, since both england and new zealand only have 1 win each. Australia are in the final for sure, so the contest is between eng and nz for the other spot, surely the last thing england want is for NZ to get another win.

Right?

I think your right ENG DONT NEED NZ 2 win cos it means they miss out on a final spot BUT...

If they reach the final they are gunna be on the back foot..
GOOD LUCK TO THEM..
After the way the kiws folded under pressure YET AGAIN BY THE AUSSIES!
Today Honestly i dont think they deserve to be in the final

SAD..SAD..SAD..
Unless they can prove sum-thin wif the bat..

DREAMS ARE FREE..
I HOPE I EAT MY WORDS ON THAT ONE...

I don't think there's anything they could have done differently to be honest.
Well, ok they could have caught Hayden twice, but then White and Hussey just would have had more of the afternoon to repeatedly smash six after six.

I'd rather england in the final than new zealand, but if any team doesn't deserve it, it's england. Really, they don't deserve to be let back into their country.

Vincent seems to be taking on the Australian bowling. The run rate is not too good but they are playing steadily. They're now 91-1 in 16 overs.

Wink Dam aussies

Symonds needs to learn how to play fair trying to create arguments and be generally disruptive is just not cricket. The aussies are good but do they have to be so stuck up and obnoctious. Remember retirements are due and who is going to take up Glenn Mc Graths mantle of probably the best pace bowler in the world? There is nothing wrong with being good just have a dose of humility because the fall is hard from that height. We all know what happened at the previous ashes in England and it will happen again sometime and heads will roll but is it all justified. Remember you Aussies pride comes before a fall. You might be number 1 like the All Blacks but you are only one defeat away from disaster, beware!

I agree with you on some of the things you say, but just make sure you stay clear of the pot calling the kettle black.
