Except Anderson has gone home to "rest" a back injury, any bets on fitness?

No - anyone know why England players get so many injuries, Anderseon has not played that many matches.

Could it be with Pietersen and Andersen they have worldcupitis? .

I'm not sure if you saw Joyce's back-away-to-leg cover-drive? If that was Oram, there'd be hell to pay - 'not proper cricket' etc etc etc.

England players who play rash shots are accused of poor play, or bad shot selection (always) - when Oram or Hayden or Symonds play rash shots, flashing cover drives, then that's good attacking cricket, double standards methinks from commentators also.

Last week it was Adelaide, yesterday it was Sydney: Anderson was again left to explain that his back was not a problem, whatever anybody suspected, whatever his history, whatever the fears that he might become another Dean Headley, another talented England fast bowler whose career was cut short by back trouble. Two scans in a week have supported his assertion that there is little wrong with him; he will have a third in England.

He hasn't bowled all that much before going to Australia where he bowled 250 overs.

Sometimes commentators can be so frustrating, for example when Gower used to play a coverdrive with no footwork if it went for 4 it was a "brilliant shot" but if he got it slightly wrong it was a "lazy shot".
