The only change I can see is Lewis in for Tremlett. If Lewis isn't fit then Mahmood might replace Tremlett. Maybe in the last game Bopara might get a go. As for Read he has to wait for a new coach to take over.

England can still get to the final I think if they win there remaining games, if that's the case england may as well go for broke and play Mahmood, he may go for runs - or he may get wickets, it's a gamble woth taking with nothing to lose.
Lewis is OK, but has been nothing special IMO, also I think Bopara should have played the last game.

I think Mahmood with his pace would have gone for runs, but took wickets with mistimed shots, slogging a bowler at 90MPH+ is dangerous even if off line at times.

I think most of the Australian batsmen are used to facing 90mph bowling. It's only when you do something special with 90mph balls that you are any threat. A whole season of county cricket with experienced bowlers to bring on his bowling should help Mahmood rather than coaching from Shine. I find that the young Aussie bowlers have more variety to their bowling. Will Australia go for the 400 they have been talking about if they win the toss?

I think they will go for 300 before 400

Loye gets himself smashed in the face trying another of his ridiculous overused premeditated pull shots.
Loving the gratuitous slow motion replays.

And with that, he's out.
Caught off a pullshot...

Yes but England have got a 60 strat with Loye and his "overused pull shot" - best series maybe, and the two front line bowlers seen off.
So England have a start thank's to these ridiculous shots, gives the others guys a chance when the new ball has been seen off.

Best opening stand of the series - I hope the rest of the England side play ridiculous shots with the same effect.

England 75-1, Bell playing better after a near run out, shows what a good start can do.

England do have a good start, but I'd say it's in spite of loye's one dimensional wreckless batting, not due to it.

This is the first time he has been out from that shot, and that was after being hit and cut.

He normaly is out caught behind nicking a full ball, not the slog sweep.

Both Australia and New Zealand to get the scores they have, have played some unorthadox shots, that's what PJ cricket is all about.
