| I wouldn't have Pakistan there, especially after that thrashing at the hands of South Africa! 1) Australia 2) west Indies 3) South Africa 4) India Bearing in mind that last year, India got experience playing ODI cricket in the Caribbean....

| I would not be suprised to see NZ and England give the cup a good shake up. Even though both have looked horribly vulnerable during the Commonwealth Bank Series, teams that play against Australia usually come back strong against other nations. |

| After their performances in the two CB finals, the aussies look EXTREMELY vulnerable for this WC.... And England are starting to look good!

| I would say the Aussies, SA and India are the best chance. Might be worth a few quid on Sri lanka as the pitches might suit their batting and maybe a bob or 2 for WI at home. |

| I feel that this will be South Africa's tournament. They have got close before, but shot themselves in the foot at a crucial moment. Even in 2003, they should have beaten the West Indies and Sri Lanka in the preliminary matches, but panicked at a crucial time. They were also unfortunate to lose to New Zealand under the Duckworth-Lewis method after making 300+ in 50 overs. This time though, Graeme Smith's aggressive captaincy on the field should give them the confidence needed to pull it off. I think they will and I have £50 up fot it. |

| You have always got to back the home team at any tornement, look at south korea at the fotball world cup, they managed to get to the semi fianls, and brain lara will want to leave one day internationals on a high and with the most prolfic opening partnership in odi's ever, an line up that can be everso destructive, a well rounded bowling line up and lets not forget they got to the final of the icc champs trophy and with the new pitches only they will truely know how they play, then you have got too back the west indies, though australi will be on the look out for revenge, just like the ashes, an with pointing, gilcrist clarke an lee they are so much more destructive, though if they pick up crucial injurys they have showen they don't have strength in depth and will be vunrable, i especially think they missed a trick by not taking stuart clarke,at glenn McGraths age injury can be difficult too recover from, an if they lose him they lose that all important control partnerhip with bracken, imagine, tait lee an johnson, runs runs runs galore.
