10-3-22-5: Pollock is BACK!

Well. he was already at No 1 in the rankings before the game began... with an astonishing current rating of 910... but this helps... and should push his rating into the stratosphere!
Code:
 Bowling	O	M	R	W	Econ
SM Pollock	10	3	22	5	2.20
Victims? The entire top order of many people's pick as World Cup semi-finalists...

0.6	Pollock to Mohammad Hafeez, OUT, and caught! Pollock strikes in trademark fashion, he teased Hafeez with the first five balls by moving them away from a good length, this time he bowls it a little fuller, drawing Hafeez forward and inducing the drive, the movement off the pitch drew the edge and Boucher takes a simple catch

	Mohammad Hafeez c Boucher b Pollock 0 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Pakistan 0/1 Imran Nazir 0* (0b) SM Pollock 1-1-0-1

6.6	Pollock to Imran Nazir, OUT, Pollock gets his man! Nazir tries to play the same hoick that earlier resulted in a six over midwicket, this time he gets the bottom half of the bat on it and sends the ball soaring high high into the air, Pollock calls for it and waits for what seems like an eternity before taking a steepling catch

	Imran Nazir c & b Pollock 22 (22b 2x4 1x6) SR: 100.00

Pakistan 30/2 Younis Khan 3* (14b) SM Pollock 4-1-12-2

12.3	Pollock to Younis Khan, OUT, bowled him! Pollock does what he has been doing almost every ball, bowls it on a superb length and line outside off stump, Younis plays away from his body and tries to drive, he gets a thick inside edge and the ball uproots the off stump

	Younis Khan b Pollock 19 (29b 3x4 0x6) SR: 65.51

Pakistan 53/3 Kamran Akmal 6* (18b) SM Pollock 6.3-1-17-3

14.6	Pollock to Mohammad Yousuf, OUT, Pollock gets his fourth! He pitches that just outside off stump and angles it into Yousuf who fell over a little as he tried to flick, the ball hit him in front of middle stump, Rudi Koertzen answers the confident appeal with the slow raise of his index finger

	Mohammad Yousuf lbw b Pollock 5 (10b 1x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Pakistan 67/4 Kamran Akmal 15* (23b 2x4) SM Pollock 8-2-21-4

16.6	Pollock to Inzamam-ul-Haq, OUT, Pollock has five out of five! He bowls that just outside off stump and the ball rears sharly off a good length, Inzamam tries to cut but the ball is far too close to the body and the bounce cramps him for room, he edges it to Kallis who takes a sharp catch above his head at second slip

	Inzamam-ul-Haq c Kallis b Pollock 0 (6b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Pakistan 71/5 Kamran Akmal 19* (29b 3x4) SM Pollock 9-3-21-5

Had Pollock ever been away in ODI's?? Granted he'd lost his penetration in test cricket, but then sucessfully reinvented himself as a first change bowler. The one thing he never lost was his line and length, essential in the shorter game.
