j kallis will hopefully be a very big performer...but i don't think he will...but in ODI I think Polock would be more likely as the SA Man of Series...

But that said my vote is still with Makhaya...who I'm sure will be bowling with power.
Let me be the first tro shake the hand of Mr. Makhaya Ntini.

Tendulkar would be my choice....For sure would he score in excess of 500 runs..yet again..and as well....given the WI pitches ..am expecting him to pick around 12 - 15 wickets in this WC

Another English dark horse could be Panesar.

I would have agreed - but he seemed to go of the boil a bit in the recent one day series.

I think Flintoff is due with the bat, he is also near his best with the ball.

Gayle like Flintoff - who knows?.

Hayden and Pietersen could be there.

I don't know so I am going for Flintoff - he is due another run of form like 2005, I think his injuries are over hyped.

The more big players turn up on top form can only be good for the WC and the better for cricket.

I feel that this will be a Pakistan batsman that will get the nod this world cup. I think with the West Indies grounds and pitches will suit there batsman - particularly the middle order.

I am hoping for a Pakistan v India world Cup Final - only problem is the losing team will probably find there house on fire back home.

But I will not be surprissed if Australia pop up again - they will lift for this game as they have been written off by the media - thats when they are at their most dangerous - never upset a sleeping bear, which I think England and New Zealand just did - so if Australia does snatch the WC you know who to blame.

An over confident Australia is much easier to beat than one that is determined to prove a point.

I want to see Sachin do it once again like he has been doing so far. His best comes out in the world cups and I am sure he wants to win it once for India.

But Ponting is probably going to be the player of the WC...
