There seems to be trouble in the West Indies.The Australians were almost hit by a two-seater plane during practics.Now,Pakistan recieved a fire threat in their hotel.

Those sort of incidents the last things we need after waiting for so long. I hope they are just unrelated one-offs.

News on the injuries :

Sourav Ganguly is not completely fit but he's playing the warm-up game against West Indies which means that he may be fit enough to play the World Cup matches.

Jacob Oram is confident that he will play the World Cup after the finger injury he suffered.He looked back in touch with an 88 in his match.

He is big and tough. Morover, he is mainly a batsman and so can probably carry-on with finger strapping.

But he wouldn't be very handy even if he could play the match unfit.He can be used to effect only if he's completely fit.
