According to Cricinfo, Strauss is not expected to start and Vaughan is only expected to field for half an innings. He managed ten overs and 18 runs against Bermuda. The question in my mind is, once again, has the ECB wasted some air fares by taking people out there based on past record rather than present form and fitness?

Match is well under way. England are doing well. The top order have produced a solid start for the likes of Pietersen, Flintoff and Collingwood. England should get 300 here. IMO England's bowling is their strength, so if they get a huge score, we are in for a good game. Once again, Australia's attack is shown to be 1 dimensional. If Australia are to win this WC, its going to be on thier batting only.

Vaughan looked in great touch which is promising.He also looked fairly mobile when he had that mix up with Bell.About time we lost to the convicts again anyway.

Looks like Australia's one dimensional bowling attack seems to be working.

England go from a commanding position to struggling to make 200.

Clark certainly making his mark felt to the selectors after replacing Lee in the team.

196 after such a good start is criminal. Basically losing 9 for 74.

Clark's belated inclusion looks set to be a good one for Australia.

They'll probably polish off the runs in 30 odd overs.
