Now that would be a dream finish.
I did say that I won't be staying up to watch many games. I'm sure if it came down to the final then many Kiwis would hang the consequences and stay up and watch it. Personally, I will most likely watch the final, and possibly the semis - but I won't be getting up early to watch the group stages and will have to make do with watching the conclusion of the matches and highlights shown at a more sociable hour.

Sounds like the subcontinent and Africa are getting the best deal at the moment.

Last world cup i spent an inordinate amount of time at the pub watching matches. Trying not to drink beer at the moment tends to rule that out, along with the midnight starting time.

I suppose there will be a day when most are watching these events over the internet.

In Australia, Fox Sports will supply Foxtel with selected matches. The first one, due to start in just over an hour from now on Fox 2, is West Indies v Pakistan. A six hour highlights package of this match will be replayed from mid-afternoon Sydney time. On Thursday Fox 1 is showing Kenya v Canada and Fox 3 is showing Australia v Scotland.
