Who gets to watch the cricket?

I was just wondering what sort of TV coverage you people around the world are getting in your country.
Here in Australia, most matches are on pay TV, which i dont have, and i think Australias later games, the semis and final are on free to air (channel 9).
Interested to know, especially those of you in non test cricket countries.

Unless I am very much mistaken, we are better off here in the UK - unless one is not a SKY subscriber.

What % of people in England would have Sky?

Here, about 30% of households have pay TV (FOXTEL)

In India a channel called Sony Max will telecast the match. Its a paid channel but the charges are nominal and almost everyone in the cities gets the channel. To ensure that others dont miss out on the matches, the national channel of the country, Doordarshan, which is a free channel will also simultaneously telecast the match across the country borrowing the feeds for Sony Max. So I dont think many people will miss out on any match.

In Pakistan, All games are 100% free on the public tv, however, I am not on Pakistan at the moment. Costs $199.99 buy the world cup package here in the U.S. Some websites are streaming it relatively cheaper. like $50.00 or something.

Only way to see it here is to have a Sky subscription of questionable legality or to stream it in from a legal Sky box in the UK through Sling Media or similar technology. I'll probably see a bit of the competition through Sling, and maybe a few half games if I can find a bar or two which will show the Sky TV feeds. There is not a big Czech following to be honest - unsurprising, as there is only one cricket club in the entire country as far as I am aware.

Well, i'm looking though the Tv guide...and it does seem that all the matches are shown on SABC 3 (unless I'm mistaken) which is a free channel.

There are 2 matches shown everyday, one is shown live and the other is delayed.

It is also fully-covered by Supersport, which would broadcast to most of Africa.

I am surprised that there is even that one club! Most locals probably think it is a comedy club or something.

In New Zealand, it is all being shown on Sky TV. I don't think any terrestrial channels have the highlights unfortunately.

The larger problem is the time that the games will be on - 3am or something. Don't think I'll be staying up to watch many games!!

Would you still say that if New Zealand are playing South Africa in the final? How many Kiwis will be watching NZ tring to chase down a 300+ SA total....and then Brendon McCullum having to face Ntini in the last over with 13 runs to win and only Shane Bond at the other end? Now that would be a dream finish.
