Sure

The only difference that Lara always does it, as the right thing to do, and never makes a fuss over it. Gilchrist seems to wear it as a self-righteous badge of convenience, to bully the opposition - if he is so concerned about 'doing the right thing', he should look at his appealing!

Please, name one keeper that does not over appeal or appeal when the ball is down leg so a wide will not be called.

241/9 for the Windies at the close, I don't think they have the bowling to defend it. Although home advantage should play a part, I fully expect Pakistan to chase this down, even with their recent form.

Well we shall see.

For the next game, regardless of the result in this match, Ramdin must be dropped.

I would not have picked him for the WC but Simmons is a better bat and Ramdin after his promising start has regressed.

The Pakistan bowling showed how brittle it is in the last 9 overs allowing 73 runs to be added. At least they took 5 wickets at the same time - but with there batting strength they should win this from here.

If ever there was an unfair, nonsensical statement made, this has to be it. Gilchrist is certainly a lively player but the so-called 'badge' was given to him by the media....he never asked for it. As for appealing, I don't think Gilchrist has ever appealed when he knew that the batsman was not out; but if he was not sure, then it is his duty to his side to ask the question.

Both Gilchrist & Lara are good sportsmen in their own right, which is a lot more than most players from a certain other country that I can think of.

Poor cricket by Nazir. First match in the World Cup, and he bats as if its gully cricket.

This looks like it could be an interesting game - West Indies now gets a maiden over after the 10 runs off the first.
