Pakistan under pressure

Well after last nights dramatic draw it means Pakistan have to beat both the minnows to progress. With their record of throwing in a poor performance every now and then (Bangladesh in 1999) they might choke.I hope not as when they get it right they are a great side to watch but with a lack of depth in bowling a shock could be on the cards.

Yeah, thats right. If they dont try to demolish the minnows, they should win both matches. In most upsets the stronger team loses because of over confidence. Normal cricket should see Pakistan off to safety. But their batsmen(like most south asian batsmen) sometimes fail to resist the temptation of scoring fast and becoming over night super heros back home. Thats what they have to resist.

well, if we are sweating over this then might as well finish the misery now than later. If we cant defeat Ireland and Zimbabwe then we dont deserve to be in super 8.

That is a great way of looking at it. I would be surprised if Pakistan didnt beat both teams though, even with their (in)consistancy
