No I don't think Ireland will win another game now, and the reason is simple, teams will not be going out looking to absolutely hammer them, the other teams know they are dangerous now and will give them a little more respect. The full nations need only play a little more cautiously and run up a decent total and we have seen that Irleand will struggle to get to that against decent bowling. Yesterday 175 would probably have been enough, 200 or more for any of the top nations and Ireland do not have the firepower to handle top quality bowlers.

I dont think anyone will underestimate them any longer. Acually, earlier they were not such a bad team. I found out that they had dismissed WI for 25 before, although a long time back. You can see a video of the same on my blog :

Ireland bowl out WI for 25

Also, I have uploaded a video of Pakistan's fall of Wickets yesterday :

Ireland eliminate Pakistan:

Yes they did, in 1969, so a few years ago!! The score was more due to the Irish Hospitality, and West Indians love of the dark stuff than anything else!!

But well done Ireland, I am very happy to proved wrong, and they should now go through. I am stunned that Pakistan were defeated, as they were one of my favs for the title.

With Bangladesh out playing India, it certainly leaves the tournament wide open. It also shows why the minnows should be here and why the add the flavour of the tournament.

Well look at the sides that most of these guys have played in or are still playing in.

Jeremy Bray - 33 years - New South Wales (Australian Domestic)
Willaim Porterfield - 22 years
Eoin Morgan - 20 years - Middlesex
Niall O'Brien - 25 years - Kent, Northamptonshire
Andre Botha - 31 years
Kevin O'Brien - 23 years -
Andrew White - 26 years - Northamptonshire
Kylie McCallan - 31 years
Trent Johnston - 32 years - New South Wales
Dave Langford-Smith - 30 years
Boyd Rankin - 22 years

Five out of eleven have played state or county cricket, out of the other six, three are under 24 years old. On international standards it is not a good team but compared to the other minnor teams like Bermuda, Netherland, Scotland and Canada or even Zimbabwe and Kenya it is quite a good side.
