Pakistan show why they cant beat IRELAND

Pakistan has proven yet again they cant even beat a team like Ireland. I mean I have waited 4 years for this the past 3 months I couldnt wait and wait. I felt that Pakistan had a good fair chance at winning this thing. But yet again they have shown that they cant beat a 3rd class team. I am really mad and frustrated what direction is this team going at. I mean we should kick every one of except Yousuf and bowlers. I think the worst captain ever Inzi should retire immeditly. As for Bob Woolmer it was nice while you were here. PAKISTAN HAS TO WAIT 4 more years now. This is a very SICK performence from a pakistani standpoint. I am shocked really just from the fact we lost so bad to Ireland..... I dont know what to say. What do you have to say???

I think that's a bit harsh, Ireland are proving themselves to be the "best of the rest" and should be expected to compete with some of the bigger nations.

Harsh again IMO. Okay, maybe he should have put on a couple of spinners when the light was fading and Pakistan were behind on Duckworth/Lewis, but Inzy is a pretty astute captain. He's had a bad day.

Actually, I think Inzi has been one of the better Cricket captains over the years with his deceptively laid back approach. But at 37 and not very fit, he might have stayed a couple of years too long instead of a dignified retirement. If Pakistan do lose to ireland and go out of the World Cup, it could become an unfair blot on his career.

Inzamam should retire as soon as possible and Woolmer should resign as soon as possible he was leaving any ways. Fans in Pakistan are very and I mean very SAD and cant beleave what just happend. Inzi is to old for the job. My question now is is there any way possible Pakistan can make it any further I doubt it though

No, Pakistan is out. Sadly enough its the second time in a row that Pakistan got knocked out in the first round of a world cup. I can understand the state of the fans back in Pakistan and I know that a few heads will roll....that includes Wolmers and possibly Inzy's. I am really feeling bad for Inzy.

I think we should move from Pakistan to Ireland. The Irish played superbly in especially in their fielding. They saved quite a few runs and took a couple of great catch. The added fact that it's their debut World Cup shows how well they've played after that fighting tied game against Zimbabwe. If Zimbabwe lose one more game,Ireland would qualify to the Super Eight Series.

Ironically, Pakistan could come to Ireland's aid here. After their upset loss, surely they want to take some consolation home by thrashing Zimbabwe in their final group match? So, even if a desperate Zim manage to upset a fickle Windies team tomorrow (which is highly unlikely, but who knows in this game?!?), Ireland still have a chance of going through.

Ireland with some momentum.
Maybe another upset against the West Indies?
Any takers?

I am so very afraid to comment on that now.

The West Indies batsmen have some suicidal tendencies on the cricket pitch. You never know.

News is that Pakistani public is very angry, they are out on the roads demanding arrest of Inzamam and Woolmer and they calling for death of the cricketers.

Quote:
The mob was heard chanting, "Death to Bob Woolmer , death to Inzamam, death to Nasim Ashraf - police should arrest them".
