Rest in Peace Bob. After various other things happening today, none of which are worthy of mention in comparision, this puts everything in perspective. Cricket has lost one of its best coaches.

The word tragedy is over used these days, but its apt at this news.

By all accounts, Woolmer was a true professional, a wonderful man and a man who dedicated his life to cricket. Someone who was respected by friends, colleagues and adversaries, yet despite all that, managed to retain his humility, and even after 30 or so years in the game, had the enthusiasm and the motivation of any youngster just taking up cricket.

A great loss to the game. One of my earliest cricketing memories was Woolmer getting 100 against the Aussies in the 77 Ashes. Very sad indeed.

Disastrous news not only for his family and friends but also for cricket world
a magnificent coach who changed every conventional things into new attractive mode for the cricket lovers(also worked as a cricket development manager for icc)
i doubt anyone could match his cricketing brain especially in coaching
we might see another john buchannan or duncan fletcher but Bob woolmer is one and only of his kind
My hearty condolences to his family and freinds
we miss you bob
