I have been following his website for some months now.. and his rappot with Pakistan fans on it was terriffic he was not just a great coach but a gem of a person..... this is tragic news.. i hope god gives his family strength and him eternal peace.

With respect, Mudney, there's nothing to be gained by speculation about the cause of Bob Woolmer's death. I would ask everyone please to refrain from speculating in this thread. Thanks.

It could well have been brought on by stress. He's not had an easy time of late.

Although Pakistans elimination yesterday has caused a lot of heartache, Woolmers death puts everything into perspective. There are more important things in life than a cricket match!

R.I.P Bob

Cricket has lost an unbelieveable coach and an unbelieveable human being. His absolute dedication to the game that he took with him. He is a legacy and he will be missed.
