| This is an odd question because it does not specify the criteria to be considered for this favouritism - ie best batsman, bowler, overall personality etc. But as a representative of lively sportsmanship without being boring, I'd go for Adam Gilchrist. |

| "Favourite" and "best" can clearly be very different: one could cite marginal players like Andre Nel and Mitchell Johnson as "favourites" without in any way wanting to argue that they deserve a place in the first XI of their own side! My personal favourites include Pollock, Langveldt, Rana Naved, Vaas, Jayawardene, Collymore, Chanderpaul, Kumble, and Ganguly... but I accept that not all on the list are expected to be leading ODI players in this World Cup. |

| Well I've been quite excited about Gibbs... But a lot counts on who brings in a big performance for SA on Saturday. Outside of SA, I've enjoyed watching Dwayne Bravo play in this World Cup. Last edited by PaceHitta : 21-03-2007 at 09:37 PM. |

| Favourite personality is either Muralitharan, Panesar or Gilchrist. Best player is Ponting
