The SL batsmen are fishing so much outside the off stump that they are bound to catch something soon. Go on guys, how about playing well away from the body to that delivery angling past you?

Jayawardene gone now. India in decent position. They will need to get rid of Sangakkara soon. India are bowling well. What do you guys think will be a good score. Perhaps 280. Pitch looks good though

78/2 after 20 overs, all power play. That's very unusal for Sri Lanka. Tharanga is surviving by the skin of someone else's teeth and Sangakkara has not yet kicked off. We should get him before he does so. Maybe bringing back Zaheer for a couple of overs? He is good with left handers.

Third wicket down. Ganguly removes the dangerous Sangakara. Runrate drops to below 4. This game is getting interesting.

I think 280 would be reachable batting second on this pitch. Personally, I would be happier with 180 to chase . With the two Jayas and Sangakkara gone, SL are in a spot of bother. Let us hope that the spot spreads.

Ganguly is doing a fine job now and I am sure Sachin will play an important role as a bowler as well. Right bow dada is bowling well within himself, not trying to do too many things. They should try to dry up the runs...that will put pressure.

Yes, but Ganguly is also going for over 5 runs an over. Now that he has done his job in removing the dangerous Sangakkara, why not rest him and try one of the Tenwag combo?

Yes, I agree with you. Its time to get Sachin and Viru in. They are clever thinking bowlers. Two more wickets will put India in the driver's seat.

The pitch is slow and there is some turn for Harbhajan. I reckon anything over 200 would be extremely difficult to chase for India.
