India and Pakistan both out early.

This isn't a good world cup for the sub continent.
Will probably hit the TV figures badly as well and depending on how they organised the sponsorship and advertising deals it could hit them hard as well.

aye, a shocker for them, especially India, who some expected to go very far, and with the likes of Sachin and Ganguly not going to get another chance...very poor really. still absolutely amazed why Pathan or Sreesanth never got a game :s today Harbajhan and Agarkar out...get them 2 in! Sehwag/Sachin and co with the spin...but the selectors and team thought different, very disappointed them 2 never got a game, big fan of both, especially the young man on the block Sreesanth, im sure he will be a new ball bowler 4 years time

India suffered because they failed to inject new players into thier team.

When I saw the Indian side I thought hey the players had hardly changed from thier 1999 World Cup side.

A bit early to say that India is out, Bangladesh still has to beat Bermuda to go through. But a very disappointing tournament from the sub-cotinent so far.

I'm not too sure whether Bangladesh will lose to Bermuda but we'll all be hoping.

Bermuda beat Bangladesh? You have a better chance of Martians landing in the middle of Queens Park Oval. So stop clutching on to non-existent straws and think of which team you are going to support for rest of the tournament. Personally, I'm going out to buy a New Zealand flag today.

If Ireland can beat Pakistan, Bermuda can also bean Bangladesh. But I dont think team India deserves it this time.

Well, there are some misgivings - to say the least - about the circumstances under which Pakistan lost that match. I should hope that there are no such feelings with the Bermuda-Bangladesh encounter.

the baxklash is going to be brutal, there will be many players heads called for, seywag has got too go, its time for tendulkar too leave he is a great but it is time too step aside, he is holding back the development of indian cricket , he may be a short term fix, but he is a legend and i really wouldnt like too see him disappiont a faboulsous carera carring on, finish it hear and let him be remembered for the legend not the hanger on, also harbajan hasnt prouce a preformance of consitantly for some time he also has got too go, but i will be disappointed if they let go as dravid as captain, and cappel as coach both men are ofr a fantastic constrast that can really bring a new generation for cricket, but it is a sad day for cricket, with the news about bob woolmer but also too of the better but also well supported teams, it really is a drop of standards, it is great too see the minows pull off a win but it is going too ruin the tornament, you can already see the semi finals, sri lanka south africa australia and new zeland, neither west indies or england can be consistant enough and no not have a strong enopugh attack in bowling line ups, sadly as an english man i have to condem we may as well hand over the cup to the aussis no one is of there class quality or consistancy, and this is without brett lee so sadly the rest of the world is going to condemed to battering by the aussis for a long time too come
