P. Fulton
G. MacMillan
J. Oram
B. McCullum (wkt)
D. Vettori
J. Franklin
S. Bond
C. Martin..
just a thought..
For me, the starting line up as suggested, will be...

Fulton + Fleming, Taylor/Marshall, Styris, McMillan, Oram, McMullum, Vettori, Franklin, Bond and Patel.

No real changes there, Fulton came in for the injured Taylor last game...so when he's fit, Fulton just moves to opener, and Hamish is back up. I know only Papps and How on that list were 'specialist' openers, but really, in the latter stages of the World Cup, who else was he going to take?

the loss of vincent is a real blow, i mea n seriously affects there chances, as all the best teams in this tornament have an consistant opening partnership, gayle an chanderpaul, hayden and gilchrist, thranga an jayursuria, to a lesser extent smith an ab deviliers, but the truth is that stabiltity at the top is not going to able players such as mccullam and mcmillan and oram to really realise their potential, though it could work to the kiwis advantaage becausre they may jus tee off early

The bad news is that bond is injuring our players. And the good news is he must be getting his line and lenght right and not to mention pace, i see he has moved up to second place in the ICC rankings, that is great news for the kiwis. I hope the kiwis dont lose focus of their game plans after these injuries to the side. They have already been written off on another forum i visit. But if Bond gets himself in to his own little game plan and gets in to form pretty quick then i would say we may not have to worry about our opening batting now will we. (Fingers Crossed)

GO KIWIS..
