Dont count out Murali just yet - Claims Smith in his second over for 59 - If he can get another quickly this game could still have a twist left in it

Ohhhh, Malinga drops Kallis that would have been 6/183 and two new batsman at the crease. Difficult catch, but should have got it.

And South Africa finally hits the winning runs with a nick past the slips fielder for 4 by Peterson - What a complete shambles by South Africa, what started as the shakes ended in a total melt down and there little red wagon fell over the line as it lost all its wheels.

Great fight by Sri Lanka.

There would of been some red faces if they had lost. It also showed why SA are unlikely to the tournament they haven't got the side. Fortunately they caught Sri Lanka on an off day.

I think these comments are unfair. On a pitch which clearly favoured the Sri Lankans, I think that SA deserve more credit as they clearly outplayed Sri Lanka in all departments (except spin of course) for 90 overs of the game. It was through an individual that Sri Lanka got back into the game. You forget that Sri Lanka are 1 of the stronger sides in the competition. I do not think that Sri Lanka had an off day. Ntini and Langeveldt just bowled superbly. Give credit where it is due. My main concern is with Kemp. What is he doing in the team. He never seems to contribute under pressure and he does not even bowl any more. Perhaps Bosman or Prince should be egiven a go. Pollock is another concern but he will bounce back hopefully.
