Hussain let the cat out of the bag early when Pietersen and Bell were going well. He said something like this "Bell and Pietersen have got to keep on going so Flintoff does not have any pressure when he comes to the crease."

Its not just me I'm sure YK. Maybe we should do a poll to see if I'm getting my knickers in a twist over nothing
I admidt, he does pay alot of respect to the aussie players, but what is wrong with that? I can't stand Commentators that hype their own players.

If a casual cricket fan didn't know any better, after hearing Nasser Hussain go on about KP he might think the latter was Pietersen's PR representative.

My pont is that Hussain as an Englishman is understandably going to talk up his own players where as Nicholas cosistently does the reverse. Also YK the way Nicholas eulogises about some of the Aus team goes way, way beyond ordinary respect. I swear at times he'd marry Michael Clarke if he could . I guess we're off topic here so maybe after the game we take this to the backroom bar or the England forum but I warn you even you will have trouble changing my view on this!!

I find it nauseating so we're not going to agree on this are we?

Bopara manages to pick out a fielder on the square leg boundary. I like the look of him and he may be one of the few England players to come out of this tournament with their reputation enhanced.

England staring down the barrel a bit now.

Great hundred for Pietersen. Hussain loves it, just loves it. If he says KP is 'number 1 ranked in the world' one more time.....

Again Bell let us down he got himself in and was batting well and then just threw his wicket away, he should have scored a ton. As it was, his dismissal led to the loss of a couple of quick wickets and a dramatic reduction in the scoring rate.

When will he learn!

The 250 or so we will now score will not be anywhere near enough against this batting line up.

Another abject batting performance we should have scored 300.

Well that was pretty ordinary, and we'll probably get what we deserve; eliminated. Lets not get too down just yet, I guess we have runs on the board but we will need everything to go our way, no dropped catches and dare I say it even a few decisions in our favour?
