Sorry Ninjaman, I deleted my thread for your thread.

England off to a typically English start.

Well the experiment of bring Strauss back gained England 7 runs - at least he only took 10 balls to get them, rather than 25.

So at least a positive move.

Tait must be bowling rather quick, claiming both wickets with the batsman playing the ball onto the stumps - an inform Tait is going to cause the opposition a lot of trouble.

Well to me, the only answer I can see for England in regards to its openers is to open with Bell and Pieterson - they are normally together by the 6th over any way - and they are usually the highest partnership for England. There 50 run partnership off 9.3 overs is at a nice 5.36 runs an over.

The only problem I see is that if they fall quickly you have an even bigger problem.

If someone had offered us 77-2 off 16 with McGrath getting smashed out of the attack i would have taken it.

We now need Bell and KP to carry this on and one of them needs to make a ton.

This game is being taken away fromn australia. Cant see them chasing 300+ successfully.

You can never write the Aussies off but i admit that 320+ will be a hard score to chase.

Nice to see Bell sticking 2 fingers up to all his critics.

What a dolly dropped by Hayden.

Tait is proving he is a great talent. If pietersen doesn't make i century now, he never will again.

Bells lofted drive is caught by hussey bowled Mcgrath. Very good 77.

Oh Shaun Tait. Fantastic bowling; just offering a bit of width to collingwood, colly obliges but at 90 MPH, should have turned it down. Gilchrist does the rest...

Hey Moss, if you're reading, can you grasp why Tait is being picked now?
