Flintoff cannot afford to bowl badly for England. They play South Africa on this same ground and the Proteas can more than handle pace. In fact they'll be delighted with the ball coming on to the bat like it does here.

Panesar has removed Rafique, caught by Strauss, but the scorecard has gone backwards so that is all I know! 113/8

Considering what the score was Bangladesh has done well to get where they are now at 8/132.

Not nearly enough to win, but am quite glad that they did not fold and be all out for under 100 as they could have been. Altough, considering every bowler is looking to be economical there must be a bit in this pitch - so it will be interesting to see how England bat on this.

Absolutely. Even spin bowlers like a fast pitch with a bit of bounce.

England could have a problem, batting with the same head in the sand attitude that Flintoff used for bowling.

I hope not. But you gotta be realistic here. This is England I'm talking about.

Wierd game so far for Englands innings - the first run off the bat comes on the last ball of the 4th over and they have already lost Bell - 1/8.

I wish I could see the game - is this pitch doing a lot or is England just being cautious?

5.1Syed Rasel to Vaughan, no run, dropped. The keeper was standing up to the bowler there, that cuts away from him and there's an outside nick ... and a fumble. Oh dear

Will that come back and Haunt the Bangladesh team - I hope not.

Well bangladesh get the second wicket, and now have the key batsman at the crease - get him early and they could just open the doors.

Game now interestingly placed with Razzak taking his second wicket (Pieterson) and continuing to impress me with his bowling.

Flintoff has already beaten most of his scores so far this world cup.
