Ireland must be happy going home even though they didn't reach the semis.Reaching the Super 8s after beating Pakistan and tieing with Zimbabwe was no fluke as they showed in the next round.Even the matches they lost,it was not very convincingly lost except the ones against Australia and Sri Lanka.The win against Bangladesh in the Super 8s got them a name in the ODI list as the 12th ranked nation.

But the problem is that,they'll need more competetive matches between the World Cups.This will be tough to get although India will tour them as a part of the England tour this year.It'll be interesting how they'll go along.
