When you are chasing a large score as NZ were there is always the risk that you will get skittled, especially if you have to go at over a run a ball from the off.

I agree with you YK, but if I were you, I would not waste your time and energy arguing with people with one track minds. It is a bit like the old adage about throwing stones at you know what. I also think that Clarke is a good and very watchable player and he played an excellent innings today. But unfortunately for him, he was born in Australia and not in Sri Lanka and so in some people's books that is a good enough reason to rubbish him. And they call other people bigots.

Big difference between what they are capable of overseas compared to at home. New Zealand got absolutely smashed and only have a very short time to pick up the peices.

Your're right. Glad you agree with me, my friend.

I've done nothing of the sort. What you have done though is suggested that a player's test average after 27 games will reflect the rest of their careers.

Clarke is a fine young cricketer. He is a wristy player who rotates the striker with ease. Not a big hitter by any means, but that is not why he is in the aussie team.

His potential is as great as he wants it to be. Don't illustrate your ignorance anymore, please.
