April 20th Super 8s: Australia vs New Zealand

Looks like the Kiwis are doing a Sri Lanka and resting Bond and Oram, though the latter ostensibly has a 'heel injury' that is supposed to get miraculously better by the semi-finals. For the record, Oz have won the toss and gone in to bat first. They are probably getting tired of all these 'plots' by the opposition to 'outwit' them.

Oz made 77/1 after the first 10 overs and so Fleming did not choose the second Powerplay. Vettori & Styris are now keeping things quiet, but for how long?

I did not see it (will do on TV highlights later) but maybe Symonds was signalling from the pavilion that it was time for him to get some batting practice. But I would have thought that Clarke would have waited to reach his 50 before throwing his wicket!

Nice joke for a change. How old are you? Perhaps India should setup a 10 year plan to produce good talented young cricketers who perform when matters.

It is a matter of opinion. Not everyone has to agree with your choice of who the most watchable players are.

Are you joking? It was an honour to watch him bat. Best 49 you'll ever see.

Didn't throw it away as such. That is why it was so strange. When you see for yourself you'll understand what i mean...
