Yes Rachael but England then lost the final to the West Indies with Vaughan scoring I think six, also his capaincy if you remember was not good, the seamers could not get the last West Indian wickets, and he never gave Giles a bowl.

He played well today - so did Nixon and KP, but I think Vaughan being his knee is better, should concentrate on being the Test captain, captaining the England one day side IMO drags a player down.

Brian Lara wasn't too disappointed while talking in the presentation. And why not? Both teams played very well and it was a matter of just a ball and a wicket left. That was the best match of the series so far!

Bizarre!!!
Nor Bizarre at all. All the powers that be are suffering from an advanced case of Kaypiitis; they reckon that the England team will implode and cease to exist if KP decides to give it all up and take holy orders or something.

I think Vaughan damaged something yesterday in his right leg, it could have been cramp but with his history it might be 'will he be fit for the 1st Test'.

I would have also given Vaughan MOM. Without his bowling we could have been chasing 400 and his batting got the team off to a good start.
