| In all probability Aus will win... however if S.A could just get Hayden right about now?? who knows

| If they get Hayden the victory margin will be one less wicket. We're are watching a formality, I'm afraid.

| At 68/2 it looks that way. I just hope the final is a good game.

| South Africa have choked again |
| ||||
| Were we really surprised that SA choked again?? If Sri Lanka have a fully fit team you just never know, we may get that competitive final we all want after all.

| I cant help but thinking that the single most critical juncture in this match was the 6th over McGraths 3rd, where Jaques Kallis decided it was time to attack ball one Kallis premeditated down the pitch McGrath pitches short and follows Kallis bang 4 runs McGrath mutters something, ball two both take a breather, ball 3 Kallis premeditated down the pitch McGrath bowls an off stump yorker Kallis overcommited to a leg side short ball swipes in hope crack good bye off stump McGrath sucks in the sweetest breath of his cricketing life. Then I listened to 3 commentators dribble about how Steve Waugh and some pretty strong voodoo say it was destined that Herchelle Gibbs was going to single handidly take South Africa to victory because the cricket gods owed him. Steve has obviously had quite a good time decapitating chickens in wooden hut's during his carribean journalistic holiday. And has found a willing and easliy impressed group of ex cricket players namely Ian Botham, Mark Nichols and Damien Flemming who were totally convinced Steve's voodoo predictions were going to come true even at 5-27. |
