| The death of Woolmer, the riots following Pakistan and India's exits, a once again predictable Australia win, the problem with the final and a fire in the Pakistani hotel. Sorry, that's not good cricket. (to all you Australian fans: Look at it from everybody's perspective, steamrolling everybody must get boring now for you, it's got boring for everybody else longer, A lot of people would prefer to see a close final, edge of your seat stuff, rather that what happened. No offence to you Aussies!)

| Yes but shouldn't it be upto the other teams to make it close? Afterall the Aussies aren't going to decline their play to alow other teams more of a chance? |

| I didn't mean it was Australia's fault, I just mean that Australia beating everybody so convincingly is quite frankly, boring. I know Australia don't see it the same way! But you do have a very good point, It's up to everybody else who have the potential (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, England, South Africa, New Zealand) to step up and challenge them, and I think it will be interesting soon because a lot of the Australian XI have retired and will will see if they replace them with people who can live up to their high standards.

| To be fair, if you were Australian wouldn't you enjoy beating everyone? As quite a bit of their team is retiring (6 was it?) than their play is likely to decline anyway which will allow other teams to make matches close and more nail biting. |
