ICC has suspended all five match officials from the world cup final for the entire period of 20-20 world cup. Its a punishment for their mistake in the final.

A punishment was sure needed, but this also means that the 20-20 world cup will be played without some of the best umpires.

This is a tad harsh i think. Still, it's only a 20/20 comp and it will hopefully give the opportunity for new up and coming umpires to gain some experience

It is harsh, but i think the ICC want to be seen to be doing something (and blaming someone) after the debacle that was the WC final.
