Mayhem today! Five sixes to end the England innings after Shah's excellent maiden hundred rescued us from a spate of run-outs, controversial or not, and Tendulkar's blitzkreig ended only by a cramp-induced mistake, followed by Owais Shah following up his hundred by taking Rahul Dravid as his first international wicket!!! India are 234/5 after 40.2 overs, needing 83 from 58 balls as Mascarenhas and Panesar remove Gambhir.

Could England beat India in an ODI series? I think I need a cup of tea...

What superlative captaincy by Dravid! What strategy!! What forward thinking!!! Who else would have had the inspirational brilliance to stick Tendulkar & Yuvraj in the last 2 overs that yieded only 42 runs! Then Dravid comes out and adds to England's confusion by cunningly getting out cheaply so that Dhoni can come in and do his stuff!!

My candidate for the Man of the Match award. Well deserved too.

He's had almost as good a game as Peter Hartley.

An indication of the consequences Dravid's decision is that with 3 overs to go, India are past the score that England had at the end of the 49th over.

Dravid's captaincy has been very bad today. Complete lack of planning.

"Prior really should have had that one" have read this too many times on CricInfo today. Moores better be careful, loyalty is good, but misguided loyalty can lose you your job, as Fletcher discovered this winter,
