Thanks people. Well, it that was the chain of events and the replay showed Collingwood to be out, what is he complaining about? I can understand his anger is directed towards Pietersen if the latter was responsible, but how can Collingwood complain if the right decision was made, even if delayed?

I guess you can all shut up and stop moaning about the Pietersen incident in the test match now, especially you who takes it as being a race issue every time India gets a poor decision.

Fantastic running by England today.Talk about gifting the game to the opposition.

Probably the most exciting debut since Ben Hollioake clubbed the Aussies everywhere at Lords in 97.

Well played Luke Wright.

I doubt it will be enough though as this looks a belting track to bat on and a score of over 300 is the least you should get, with our weak bowling line up i can't see us holding off the strong Indian batting line up.

I think thats right, 300 would be below par and we won't get any where near that. Good to see the youngster Wright playing so well. I think we now have to say Prior isn't up to opening and may indeed not be up to international cricket full stop.

As I type Mr. Hartley proves hes not up to internationals either!! Ace a lucky boy there.

Great fielding there, brilliant innings by Wright on debut.Gives us a score we can at least work with even if it is about 20 or 30 short.

Fantastic innings by Wright. 50 off 39 balls given the situation when he came in is simply stunning. Think about what he'll be able to do in power-plays though...

300 still on but England's top order have failed, not for the first time this series and its something that we need to look very closely at.

Agarkar has been torn apart. The guy can be very expensive at times. ZK is bowling the last over and Dravid will be left with 3 more overs after this. It will be interesting to see who bowls next.

Fantastic finish by Mascarenhas.30 off 5 balls to take us to a very respectable 316-6.

Shah got a superb ton (though he was out) and played beautifully and England have a real chance now after collecting 71 runs off the last 5 overs.

CARNAGE

Great stuff. Was at Bristol the other day and Mascarenhas is some hitter. Has now hit 10 sixes in 84 balls faced in one-dayers. That's pretty good going! We appear to have an England side with a collection of hitters in now. How exciting. Still worth remembering what a state we were in after thirty though.
