Oh yes,we are a work in progress at the moment and we will slip up occasionally but the signs under Collingwood are promising. As i have said in the other thread we need a bit more tinkering but we are getting there.

Good stuff by Shah - and it makes the selectors look silly picking Jon Lewis ahead off AD Mascarenhas in the last match after todays 5 sixes in the last over.

Superb cricket by England. Looks like the selectors finally decided to pick 1 day player for the 1 day games. This score is too high for India even though they have a strong batting line up. Dhoni might need to come in early here. England just need to find a decent opening batsman.

Is Wright and Mascaranhas both in the twenty twenty WC squad. Exciting players. I look forward to watching them here in CT next week

I'm not so sure Gibbs fan, I think India can get this, several of their batsmen seem in reasonable nick and this is a great pitch with no dodgy weather about. We need some early wickets to slow them down.

Great hits by DM. Is he in the England Twenty20 team? And why has a talented big hitter like him not played limited overs cricket more often for England? Even if he is only a mediocre bowler, I am sure that can improve with some coaching. I have seen DM a few times in county matches and he seemed a good prospect.

PS: Gibbs apart, are 5 consecutive sixes a record in ODIs? I do not know of any other occasion when this feat was repeated.

Tendulkar is on the rampage. He is murdering the English bowlers. I wonder, has these flat pitches along with Englands poor bowling attack rekindled the Tendulkar of old.

100/0 India after 14 overs.

PS: the senior Indian players do seem to perform better without a coach. Are coaches really required at international level. However, given India's fielding, I guess a coach is required

Tendulkar is looking completely awesome, the only way he will get out is from his own mistake I reckon. We seriously need to get him out, maybe now a wicket has gone we can build some pressure.

Tendulkar has gone for 94! Probably his leg problems that caused that, didn't get in the right position to whack it over cover and instead hit it down Collys throat, nice.
