England v India, Lord's:Saturday, 08 September.

England v India, Lord's, 10:15.

This is the decider, can Colly captain England to the first ODI series win since Flintoff capained England to a win in Australia in 2006 (I think it was 2006)?.

Well Colly is the man that can do just that - he really is an ace one day captain.

But so is Dravid - India have fought back well, some say he has been to negative, but results speak for themselves.

Moore is thinking about playing Flintoff, I think he should be put on ice for the Winter tour - a couple more weeks rest on his ankle COULD make all the difference.

Good luck to both sides - never has a one day series been so close.

Post your pre match, and match comments here please.

In terms of talent, i think both the teams are evenly balanced on paper. I would however say India has a slight edge simply because it has had the momentum going for the last 3 matches. Plus, the form of key players like Sachin and Saurav should be heartening. Still, they're notorious for losing it in the finals, so it should be interesting to watch if they can pull this one. I think, the deciding thing for them will be whether the indian opening pair comes up with a biggie again. If yes, it ought to be a close one, at-least.

Flintoff in for Cook. Assume that means that Wright and Prior will open. Could be very interesting indeed.

Oh deep joy a pain klling jab to Flintoff's ankle to get him on the park for a still fairly meaningless in the grand scheme of things ODI ahead of a packed winter this is bound to end well . Very dissapointing to see that after a couple of failures Cook is dropped and the bits and pieces contingent is now dominating the top order.

I agree with you about Flintoff. My enthusiasm was to see Wright open, not to see Cook dropped.

Aleem Dar has ruined this match now. New lows have been set for umpiring in this tour.

Pretty harsh on this occasion. The Dravid decision appears to have been correct, and the Tendulkar decision was pretty unlucky due to brushing the pad with the bat just as the ball passed the outside edge. Uthappa was given not out shortly after to a very thin edge; again it would be harsh to call any of these 'bad decisions'. Wrong decisions they may have been, but I don't think any of them were particularly bad... Certainly compared to some of the other decisions that we have seen in this tour.

New lows have appeared because every decission is scutinised - I reckon the great umpires would not have been so great had they been under the microscope.

Poor decissions and only one in this game thus far looks that way, will always even themselves out.

On a cricket note Bell unlucky after a poor call from Pietersen.

Lots of cricket yet in this match DK.
