South Africa 8-1 second over - Broad the wicket taker.

Anderson showing he is not a 20/20 bowler thus far, swing bowlers are not suited to the game IMO, what's needed is rifle straight bowlers.

Broad now getting carted, short wide deliveries - 10 of the over.

Another wicket for Broad getting rid of Smith, but still getting hammered bowling a half volley.

Mixed bag of bowling, broad could have been robbed of a third wicket with a dodgy LBW decission.

Collingwood changing ends is paying off, Flintoff good delivery at new end gets England's third wicket.

Well England, it would seem, did not even bother to chase South Africa's target. It's quite disappointing to go into a cricket pavilion, having just scored a match in which 223 was chased down, to watch England fail to chase 155 or thereabouts. Wright hasn't scored anything of note - is it possible to drop him and get someone like Shah to open?

International hat-trick. [/pedant]

Australia coming back to some form it would seem, however they have much sterner tests to face yet. Bangladesh, in all fairness, aren't the strongest side are they?

7.7 runs an over needed by England. So a boundary and a couple of singles per over. Lots of swings and misses by our batsmen. Dropping the ball at the feet and running quick singles? 53 dot balls out of 120. Almost half the game.

New Zealand off to a poor start again, didn't stop them on Sunday though. 25-3 in the 4th is poor though.

I like England's plan of bowling the best 3 bowlers for 2 overs each in the opening 6,it means that a lesser bowler isn't targetted.

164-9 by New Zealand was a good recovery and gave them something to bowl at but England with yet another new opening partnership have got off to a great start.Maddy has got 36 and Solanki 23 as England are 59-0 off 7 overs.

Finally Maddy has shown why he was picked and Solanki has kept and batted better than Prior.

Well England shooting themselves in the foot again. After a great start from Solanki and Maddy, the rest of the uys have managed to throw a good position away. Vetori's bowling is really making a difference here. For England, I am afraid that the fat lady has started to sing already. Perhaps Shah can win the game but I doubt it

England 112/5
