Wright holes out to the same place, 148-8. 17 from 7 balls, possible but very unlikely now, all the big hitters gone. This is infuriating from England, our batsmen have a lot to answer for!

Well we have lost this game and are exiting the competition as a result,we have thrown away a winning chance in both our games in the super 8 stage and only have ourselves to blame.

Still i guess todays result was Pietersens fault eh.

Well done New Zealand and Dan Vettori,i hope they go on and win the thing now, though the injury to Oram will obviously hamper their chances.

New Zealand are a very good side and have a habit of coming back from bad situations both bowling and batting. But I'm afraid today I think Englands batsmen have given it away with silly shots like Pietersen, and silly runouts like Flintoff. They dont deserve to go through to the next stage. It's a real shame because I think if we get ourselves together we could actually do pretty well.

Not exactly. England can still go through on NRR if each of Eng, SA and India win one match (and NZL wins all its matches).

I think that the English public have a very much over-inflated opinion of their national cricket team (not unlike the national English rugby and football team)...quite simply Engalnd were beaten by two teams that were better and mentally stonger. End of Story.

At least we are getting ourselves knocked out before we choke in the semi final AGAIN.

For a start though we know we have a dreadful rugby team,we may have won the last world cup but that was then and now we are a poor siode who may not even qualify for the inevitable quarter final thrashing.

When was the last time your fantastic South African side beat us in a test series?

Desparate IMO. At least we compete in tournaments. A semi-final finish is always better than a group stage finish. Besides, England have perfected embarrasing themselves before getting knocked out. England should be called "minnows".

This is exactly the problem with you English. Win one series and you think you are the best in the world. The last time Englnad toured SA, they did indeed win but that was the only time they ever won in SA. They usually get thumped here. When last did you beat SA in England. I remember England scraping home to draw the series after Gibbs and Smith hit Gough into retirement.

The difference is that we (SA) do not over rate our side like you do. We accept the fact that we are a poor test team but I bet we will still beat England in SA next year. England could not even beat Sri Lanka nor India in England. LOL. Are you not specialists at the long version while India and Sri Lanka are considered 1 day teams. In fact how many of the last test series have England won (not counting the WI as even Kenya will beat them). Oh but you beat Aus in 2005. Yes thats all we ever hear from you bunch.

We also blame our own players when we lose unlike you "whiners". England would have wont the last 3 soccer WC's but it was Simeone and Ronaldo's fault wasn't it.
