Pakistan have beaten Australia. Well done and they must surely now be 1 of the favourites to win the tournament after beating both Aus and Sri Lanka. Pakistan join New Zealand in the semi's and Sri Lanka and Aus will play in a winner takes all match. That will be a cracker of a match.

Misbah has been a revelation so far for Pak.

This WC has been very entertaining and exciting. Twenty 20 is here to stay.

You can't say that as when we said it about our missing players we were crucified for it.

Well done Pakistan, the better, hungrier side won.The batting by Malik and Misbah was a joy to watch.

Australia need to beat Sri Lanka or they are out (providing Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh later today of course)

Well its been a while since we played them too, in any form of the game - 2.5 years, in fact!

Excellent couple of results though, brought by solid, disciplined team performances - celebrations in the Maranello household today ;-)

GF - the other batsman in the squad is young Fawad Alam, a star from the domestic Twenty-20, who is a left-handed batting all-rounder.

Just back from work, saw the England result, and I'm disgusted with this England side, Prior should not be anywhere near an England shirt, I'm seeing signs that the England cricketers are becoming like the England footballers and are overpaid and are to be frank complete rubbish. It's times like these I wished I'd have stayed in India!

Much as I belittle Prior's inclusion, I think it's a bit harsh to blame today's result on him when he wasn't playing!

Solanki, at least, passed off a decent impression of a wicketkeeper.

I mean Prior shouldn't be in the squad, never rated him, never will. I wasn't blaming him for today's result, but he's not good enough IMO.

Well that is two games we should have won and just threw it away.
I hope Pakistan wins the 20/20 World Cup. They really have changed alot since we played them in Pakistan.

Very disappointing against Pakistan were the Aussies.

The mistake they are making i think is bringing Symonds in to early.

Hussey and Hodge in the late overs get 1's and 2's but not enough boundaries.

I think we should drop Symonds down the order abit so towards the end of the innings he can get the boundaries we need.

Also that opening bowler from Pakistan is going to be a STAR.
