Totally agree with this. I've thought for a few years now that Twenty20 would work well in the Super 14 Rugby format between South Africa, Australia and NZ. 14 provincial teams from all 3 countries do battle. Each region could have it's own competition and winners from each go into a 4 team knockout competition.

I don't know, look how much publicity the Ashes got, or the England-West Indies tests after the World Cup. I don't think Tests are necessarily going to get less popular, I think that T20 is going to get MORE popular.

Regarding the balance between bat and ball, I think T20 could sort out part of that problem as well. If bowlers are getting slogged regularly in one form of the game, surely they'll bowl more accurately and consistently in other forms? Necessity being the mother of invention, and all that.

Well, with the introduction of 20-20 and the ipl, i think 5 years along the line cricket is going to be very different from what we know now. For the good or the bad, 20-20 has changed things. Has someone seen the fielding of cricketers in the under 19 world cup, its amazing. Even teams like west indies, have been great at fielding.

I feel that 20/20 should ideally take over 50 over cricket. ODIs really are no longer drawing in economy and 20/20 is where the big bucks lie.

I think 20/20 should be in the olimpycs. The 50 over game is getting a bit boring now 20 20 has arived and i think that 20 20 should take over the one day game and scrap the 50 over gam altogether
